After holding workshops in the Castle Douglas area for the last few months I realised that arty crafty needed a base, so here it is!
Workshops began as a creative opportunity for children but are now held as birthday parties, adult evening sessions and in community groups as fundraisers.
Decopatch is a form of decoupage - simply spread the glue on to the paper and smooth it onto one of the paper mache, wood or ceramic shapes available in the workshop. You can choose from picture frames, plates, seasonal decorations, animal figures, money banks, kids eye masks and so much more. the glue will dry and leave the paper with a glossy finish.
We can coat your finished piece with a varnish so that your item will be food safe but this will not make it dishwasher safe. Varnished items are wipe clean only.
You can also create a special baby keepsake - handprints on canvas, clay handprints or add handprints to one of the ceramic or paper mache products.
I have also created a range of bunting which I can make for you - this would make a lovely gift or decoration for your home.
Gift vouchers are available.
Commissions are also welcome - if you see something you like but are unable to make it then I would be happy to help!
A range of gifts are stocked which can all be personalised for you.
